BY BOAT ONLY - Palisade Bay is located about 20 minutes by boat from marinas in Honey Harbour on Georgian Bay. There are 230 feet of smooth granite shoreline with gradual entry for little swimmers and wading. The dock has good water depth for your boats and cannonballs or dives into weed free swimming. The water in this inlet is warmed by the granite cliff directly across from the property. If you are into watersports, there are excellent places for tubing and wakeboarding and Georgian Bay offers many places to explore in your boat. Behind the cottage are kilometers of well-groomed mountain biking and hiking trails. A short paddle away is McCrae Lake where you can go for a picnic, play in the rapids and enjoy some wicked rock jumping. Inside the cottage are two bedrooms with queen beds as well as an extra queen bed in the living room. Additionally, there is a cozy Bunkie closer to the water with another queen bed and your own deck. The small building behind the cottage serves as a workshop and a fourth bedroom. The living room features a granite fireplace with an airtight insert which provides warmth on a cool evening or during the shoulder months. If you'd like to build out, there's over an acre of land and plenty of room for an addition and potentially a larger bunkie.
